Our objective:

This is the third time we have worked with our client, MyHomeMove, and the second time for their annual conference and awards dinner. Our client is an online conveyancing company and the name of this particular conference was ‘Brick and Click’. This is an organisation that is pioneering an online offering for what has been traditionally a staunch offline community. This company is changing the game in their industry and it is vital that we matched their aspirations. They requested a bespoke stage set with offset panels, which was based on something they had seen at an event they had been to themselves. It involved panels set at different angles that were to be lit in bold colours.

Our approach:

A part of our approach is to always create the right environment for engaging content and discussion incorporating social media where possible, to help facilitate debate around critical topics. As a business that is changing the game in the industry it was key that our client encouraged the use of twitter which was used in the various panel discussions and to gauge reaction to the event.

There was another event the night before at the venue so we had tight timelines to gain access into the room and be set for the following morning. Our team worked through the night to get everything ready for rehearsals in preparation for the conference.

We selected music that delivered subliminal messages for the audience to move them around the venue quickly and to embed messages about the speakers and the event.

Additionally, we interviewed and filmed the audience during refreshment breaks to glean instant feedback on our client and their event. This was to create a conference highlights video and promotional video for their recruitment campaigns.

We believe detailed planning prior to the event and demonstrating flexibility enabled our team to produce an event that exceeded our clients expectations.

The result:

A very happy client and a very happy audience. Take a look at our video to hear the Head of Marketing share what she likes about working with Indigo Blue Productions.
